Zero Requiem

As the battle around the Damocles continues, Nunnally faces Lelouch with her opened eyes, noting that it has been eight years since she has seen the face of her brother, the face of a murderer. Yet she acknowledges that she herself has the same face because she is determined to stop her brother even if Lelouch uses Geass on her. Lelouch acts a bit surprised since he had always wanted to use Geass on Nunnally, but she was able to break Charles's Geass of absolute obedience.

Kallen and Suzaku meet each other outside and begins a duel. At the same time Anya and Jeremiah are fighting each other. Anya destroys Jeremiah's main knightmare and his secondary one comes out and gets in between Mordred's shield before it can finish activating. Jeremiah self destructs and causes major damage to Mordred. Jeremiah jumps out with blade in hand and is about to kill Anya when claims she has no memory. Upon hearing this Jeremiah uses his Geass Canceller on Anya.

In the mean time, Gino struggles to make his Knightmare to run to help Kallen fight Suzaku. As the fight continues, Suzaku's and Kallen's knightmares start to run out of energy. They decide it in one decisive attack Guren's arm goes into the main compartment of Lancelot while Guren only suffer damages like missing limbs. Kallen falls off and is saved by Gino. At the same time, Lancelot explodes.

Back in the Damocles, Lelouch uses the Geass on Nunally to get the FLEIA remote. He expresses his true feelings while Nunally is still controlled. He takes the switch and Nunally returns to her senses. Lelouch turns to leave and Nunally gives chase, only to be stopped by the stairs.

Back outside Kaguya says Suzaku is defeated and ask C.C. to surrender. C.C. says says Kaguya never knew of Zero's identity until recently, but she was able to understand one part of his true nature and says she is a gentle person. Then Lelouch fires a FLEIA. Lelouch then gives a speech to the world saying he is the ruler of Britannia and the rest of the world and announcing his victory in the war.

Two months later, Lelouch holds a parade for himself in Japan. With him are captives which include Kallen, Todou, Schneizel, Nunally, Ohgi, and many others. At the mean time Cornelia, Guilford, and Villeta are seeing what is happening from a building. Then in the middle of the road appears Zero. Zero runs straight towards and Lelouch and the Knightmares open fire, Zero dodges them all and Jeremiah orders them to stop and draws his sword to fight him. Zero jumps over his shoulder and Jeremiah secretly wants him to advance forward. Lelouch draws his gun and Zero draws his sword and knocks the gun away. As Zero readies his blade to pierce through Lelouch's heart. Lelouch smiles as the sword goes near his chest. Kallen realizes that Lelouch had planned his death out.

Zero Requiem is revealed to us at this point as a flashback on a conversation between Suzaku and Lelouch. Suzaku is given Zero's mask and is to kill Lelouch disguised as Zero. Lelouch also mentions to Suzaku that Geass is like wishes because they both need the assistance of others. C.C. is seen in a church praying for Lelouch and quotes Lelouch saying, "Only those that are prepared to fire should be fired at". Back to the present, Suzaku as Zero stabs Lelouch. Lelouch tells Suzaku that this is also his punishment because he will forever wear a mask as the defender of justice, eternally sacrifice his happiness for the world, and no longer be known as Kururugi Suzaku. Suzaku accepts the Geass. Suzaku draws his sword out of Lelouch's chest and Lelouch falls down in front on Nunally. As Nunally touches his hand, the plan Zero Requiem is revealed to her. Lelouch gives his final words about him destroying and creating worlds and dies. Cornelia announces Lelouch has died and the crowd goes wild and runs toward Suzaku. Todou now realizes who Zero really is, and Kallen with tears in her eyes claims it's Zero. Nunally breaks down and starts crying on Lelouch's body.

Soon after life returns to normal, Kallen gets up for school and looks at a picture of Lelouch on her billboard. Kallen tells Lelouch in her mind that the world has become a much better place now as much of the war effort has gone to help poverty and hunger, but there are still problems. Nunally and Zero exits a plane together and is greeted by Ohgi. A picture is shown after showing that Ohgi and Villeta has gotten married. Anya and Jeremiah are seen harvesting oranges at a orchard. Damocles has drifted off into space and disintegrates near the sun. A wagon with a wagon driver and C.C. are shown travelling on a road. C.C. talks about the Geass and how it brings solitude, but C.C. continues to say it isn't accurate and asks Lelouch. So in other words Lelouch became immortal and staged his "death". He is the wagon driver with C.C. (That's a plausible guess because she can be either referring to Lelouch's spirit or actual Lelouch.)

Zero Requiem, the end to all hatred and the beginnings of new world. It is the perfect ending for Code Geass R2. I sympathize Nunnally when she discovered the truth behind her brother's plan. It was a very depressing moment, even more than when Rolo and Shirley died. Lelouch would be forever remembered by the people whom he came in contact with and be hated by the world because "[he] destorys...worlds...creates...worlds".

And other most memorable part is where Orange-kun is picking oranges.- Rokou

Amazing series and a amazing ending I must say. The dramatic death of Lelouch was a really touching moment, and Nunally adds on to that when she cries over the loss of her brother and Suzaku crying when he kills his best friend, Lelouch. I loved the part when Lelouch falls down and they put the camera angle in his perspective looking at Nunally as he descends and the camera follows his view. I thought they did a great job on the overall scene. - Ricky

Sekirei - 12 (END)

After the defeat of Musubi, all hope seems to be lost. Having Minato, and Shigi who are unable to fight the Disciplinary Squad, Kuno kisses Shigi and becomes winged. She sings her song that weakens other Sekirei, or the gently gentle song as Shigi calls it. Kuno sings the song for awhile until she runs out of energy and spews out blood. Tsukiumi soon comes to their aid, only to be too late. In her raging anger she takes on both Benitsubasa and Haihane at once. Tsukiumi fought on even ground with Benitsubasa and Haihane, but only to be pinned down by the girders on the bridge when Haihane cuts them down.

At the same time, Minato's sister, Yukari, was with Shiina, the male Sekirei who is the brother of Kuu. They run into Hayato with his two Sekirei, Akitsu, and Mutsu. Hayato wanting to get rid of Yukari and to wing Shiina orders Mutsu to kill Yukari. Shiina jumps in and saves Yukari and rolls down a small hill. There they confess to each other and kisses and Shiina becomes winged. Right after that, Shiina unleases his powers. His powers are that of death and decay, which is the opposite of Kuu's powers. At this point Hayato and his Sekirei flees.

Back where Minato is, Musubi started giving off a pink glow and her Sekirei mark returns. But instead of Musubi coming back, she becomes No. 8, Yume, the Destiny Sekirei. Yume starts giving the Disciplinary Squad a lecture which provokes Benitsubasa. Benitsubasa and Haihane then attacks Yume, which in return Yume blasts them with a pink beam. Knocking them both off balance, she grabs them by the ankles and throws them away. Yume goes back to Minato and talks about his warm loving heart that woke her up and that he is a great Ashikabi. Soon after the black Sekirei, Karasuba comes in to fight Yume. Opening her eyes and drawing her katana she charges towards Yume. Yume dodges all attacks and says that the one that will block you for sure would be a certain someone and changes back into Musubi right before getting stabbed by Karasuba. Musubi regaining consciousness wonders what had happened. Minato seeing Musubi back cries and runs over to hug Musubi. Just then the MBI satellite becomes operational again and fires a giant laser beam from out of space, demolishing the bridge. Kuno and Shigi falls and is saved by Uzume and Kazehana.

After everything came to a end, Yukari and Shiina swears to be together forever. Back at the bridge, Shigi offers Minato to escape the capital with him only to be rejected. Minato claims he still has something to do in the capital. Shigi then takes his leave with Kuno, and Minato apologizes for being useless. Musubi says that as long as Minato is himself, it's more than enough. Tsukiumi, Matsu, and Kuu seeing how Musubi takes all the parts for herself runs over to hug Minato.

Soon life goes back to normal back at the Izumo house. Kuu watches the news about the vegetation that died and thinks of Shiina. Seo freeloads off Miya while his Sekirei are apologizing. Claiming that it was alright, a oni mask appears behind Miya while she smiles, scaring Seo. Tsukiumi continues to argue with Musubi about being the legal wife while feeding Minato. Kuu walks in and starts feeding him too while Matsu laughs in the background. Back at MBI, Takami is left speechless to how No. 88, or Musubi, reactivated again. Hayato is left complaining about not being able to wing Shiina. Benitsubasa and Haihane are back at MBI angry at Musubi and talks about her huge breasts, or outrageously huge breasts as Haihane puts it. Natsuo sees how Karasuba is in a good mood while Karasuba is cleaning her katana. Uzume is back at the hospital talking to her Ashikabi while Higa of the east says that Uzume had betrayed them by saving No. 95. Yukari is still with Shiina defeating a Sekirei and kicking the male Ashikabi's groin asking if he knew where Kuu is. Back at the Izumo house Kazehana and Homura are on the roof saying how their bodies are reacting to an Ashikabi, namely Minato who is downstairs going to school while Tsukiumim Musubi, and Kuu argue about who is to see him off. Homura shocked by this looks down and is revealed he has breasts. Lastly we see Hiroto on the clock tower again saying this is only the beginning and will be continued.

Overall this series was good. It was like any harem anime, contained ecchi and comedy. Although Sekirei added fighting into it. To stay together with the one they love, they had to rise to the top, while most harems revolve a school life of a single male student. Well I'm still reading the manga so I'm ahead of the anime xD.

Ah, Macross Frontier ended...

This series ended better than I expected (story-wise, that is). It was fun listening to most of the songs in the series all over again, but the blending was a little meh.

This looks nice.

You've got to love the mechas flying around. I mean, they transform from plane to humanoid in less than a second. Damn, they absolutely would pwn Gundams, imo.

Oh shi- it looks like Freedom. A bit.

The ending was quite unsettled, though. Hmph, indecisive Alto. He couldn't even choose between Ranka and Sheryl. I like Sheryl, though, so I'll just imagine them going together.

I wonder what would happen if I did this in public. LOL

I liked the series, and I'm actually sad that it finally ended. I loved the songs as well. Now I just hope Code Geass' ending won't suck. :x
