Kuroshitsuji - 03

How easily Sebastian enlightens everyone~

This was never brought up~

Tanaka looks quite cool~

Skulls and even more skulls~

Poor Ciel~

Isn't it cute?

Antoinette

Sebastian, you too?~

Different set of clothing~

Griel's voice matches Sebastian's violion playing~

Blue suits him well~

The very important ring
  • Griel is a total klutz who has been left by Madame Red to be trained by Sebastian; But Griel got a decent voice
  • Ciel's parents died in a fire tragedy three years ago; the mansion that Ciel lives in now is newly restored two years ago
  • Tanaka can be in his real form for at max three minutes; if he goes over three minutes, he returns into his chibi form and slumbers
  • Lady Elizabeth Esel Cordelia Midford, the daughter of the Earl of Scotoni, is Ciel's fiance
  • Ciel can't dance so Sebastian teaches him
  • Ciel puts up a facade in front of Elizabeth even though she broke his ring; later when Ciel is going to bed, Sebastian places the ring back on Ciel's finger
  • The ring that Ciel wears is important to him and is passed down from generations; Ciel wants to throw it away so he doesn't remember the deaths of the family heads, but Sebastian tells him that it is a important memento so Ciel should keep it safe

I can't help it~

Grrr...he is mine *hands off*

Woosh~

Can't let the pie to be wasted~

Should we eat or should we not eat?

I spy a butler in black~

Fear my plate throwing skills~

Never knew utensils can be so useful~

Ciel's contract eye

Here you go *drops it into his pocket*

Looks very comfy up there~

  • In the beginning, there is an outbreak of mice, which was later used to compare it with people like Azuro Venere of Ferro Family whom Ciel thinks are lowlifes
  • The whole episode seems to cover Azuro Venere trying to get his hands on drugs and kidnapping Ciel in order to do so
  • Sebastian is immortal and is lightning quick once Ciel orders him with using his left eye (which is covered by an eye patch); Sebastian used plates and utensils to fight
  • There is also introduction to Ran, Madame Red, Greil, and Lan Mao; some other characters were left unnamed
  • The contract Ciel had with Sebastian includes Ciel exchange his soul for Sebastian's loyalty

Sebastian

The three failures

Stone garden is a nice concept

"Entranced by the eyes of the dead"

"Lose your legs in the Forest of Confusion"

"Have your body burned within the crimson flames"

Donburi!

Example of a perfect butler in action

"Something once lost will never return"

Ciel's family (I wonder what happened to his parents)

First impression

The perfect butler theme reminds me of Hayate no Gotoku, but without the streak of misfortunes. The game that Ciel plays with his visitor actually comes true and haunts his visitor depending on what has happened in the game. For example, Mr Damian is scorched in the oven later in the story since he landed on the board square of a person burning on a stake. The board game reminds me of Jumanji. There was also a pun when Sebastian said "I'm but a butler", which also translates to "a demon and a butler". It looks like in the beginning, Ciel signed a contract with a crow, which I suppose is "demon" Sebastian. In all, I have yet to discover what the main plot of the story is beside a devoted butler and a young master.

Fall Anime Season 2008

Author: Anonymous Posted under: , , , , , , , , , ,
A big thanks to moetron for this image which has the upcoming animes for Fall Season 2008.

I'll list down the possible series that would probably be featured on this site. Rokou and Ricky would probably add the ones they like as well.

Let's start off with a list, shall we?

1. ToraDora - I definitely will be covering this one (granted there are subs, of course). I've read a portion of the manga, and the character development is better than the summary suggests. I won't throw in any spoilers, I promise.

2. Kuroshitsuji - This seems like a male Nagi version of Hayate no Gotoku!, might as well give it a try. I don't think he could be that perfect, though. Prepare for the unravelling of a dark past or something.

3. CLANNAD: After Story - The first season was epic. This one most probably will be another round of pure, tear-jerking romance. This is a no-brainer, this NEEDS to be covered.

4. Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka - "...she screams at him to 'just die'". This seems interesting. Oh, and doesn't that girl kind of resembles Wakatsuki Syuri from Myself; Yourself?

5. ef - a tale of melodies - Romance? Oh yes, do want.

-

That's the preliminary list of anime that we will be covering, but changes might just happen overnight.

This list is temporary and likely to be update, and would be mainly used as a reminder for me, but I would be watching these:
1.ToraDora!
2.Tales of Abyss
3.Kannagi
4.Hyakko
5.Ef - a tale of melodies
6.Clannad: After Story
7.Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka
8.To Aru Majutsu no Index
9.KUROZUKA
10.Nodame Cantabile Paris
11.Kuroshitsuji
-Rokou

Well I'll also be watching most of what Dane will be watching and also be watching these:
6)Chaos;Head
7)Yozakura Quartet
8)Hyakko
9)Kannagi
10)Kyou no Go no Ni TV - There is a 4 episode OAV that came out before this.
11)Macademi Wasshoi - sounds like reverse Zero no Tsukaima
12)Ga-Rei-Zero
13)Tales of the Abyss
I didn't include the OVA's that are going to come out and I'll see if I will be watching more. - Ricky
